Vice President of Commercial Operations

Cody Caywood

Rusty has been in the flooring business since 1998. He started in the field installing tile, and that hands-on experience still shapes how he runs every job today. In 2017, he joined Bryan’s Flooring and brought his install team with him. He now leads Bryan’s tile, polish, and epoxy group, overseeing estimating, scheduling, and installation from bid to closeout. General contractors and clients know Rusty as easy to work with. He’s responsive, clear, straightforward, and he’s focused on floors that look right on day one and hold up for years.

Tile

  • Prep done right. Every substrate is checked for flatness and readiness before installation, to prevent cracking and delamination down the road.

  • Precise layout. Consistent joints, straight lines and clean pattern alignment, from large-format porcelain to natural stone and detailed mosaics.

Epoxy Flooring

  • Surface prep for adhesion. Grinding or bead blasting, scoped to each project, so coatings bond the way they should.

  • The right system for the space. Primers, self-leveling systems, quartz or flake broadcast, and chemical-resistant topcoats, chosen for traffic, exposure and appearance.

  • Even, seamless application. Consistent thickness, proper cure times and smooth transitions on floors built for heavy foot and wheeled traffic.

  • Built to last. UV-stable, abrasion-resistant topcoats, plus practical maintenance guidance at turnover.

Polished Concrete & Floor Sealers

  • Polished concrete. Step-by-step diamond grinding and honing, densifiers to harden the surface, and guard coats for stain resistance, finished to the gloss level the project calls for.

  • Custom looks. Options from a light cream finish to exposed aggregate, with dyes or stains available to match the design.

  • Sealed concrete. Penetrating and topical sealers that protect against dusting, staining and moisture, for an attractive, low-maintenance floor at a lower cost than a full coating system.

  • Long-term value. Durable, easy-to-clean floors that hold up in high-traffic commercial, retail, school and healthcare spaces.

The Team Behind the Work

Rusty is the first to say the results come from his team, in the office and in the field. His office staff keeps every project organized from start to finish, handling estimating support, scheduling, submittals, ordering and billing, so nothing falls through the cracks. In the field, his installers are experienced, skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work, and many of them have worked alongside him for years. With a strong team on both sides, communication is fast, problems get solved quickly, and jobs get done right the first time, keeping projects on track for the GC and the owner.

On Every Project

Together, Rusty’s team keeps the site clean, communicates throughout the project and stays on schedule. It’s the same commitment to craftsmanship Bryan’s Flooring has stood behind since 1978.
